Its height is about 875 meters (2871 feet). The Skorga falls a total of about 875 meters (2,871 ft) over a linear run of about 1,125 meters (3,700 ft), based on one-metre contour topographic maps. This gives Skorga the distinction of being the highest waterfall ever recorded in Norway.

While the rest of the upper 275 m are hidden from viewpoints along the valley floor in a narrow part of the gorge near the top of the falls.
