La Hougue Bie, Jersey
The historic building of La Hougue Bie of Jersey is regarded as the 2nd oldest building in the world. It was built in 3500 BC and later excavated in 1925. It is the site the largest and most preserved one in a whole of Western Europe. Much of its part was used during World War II and served as the lookout points or underground bunkers. This structure is almost 18.6 meters long and about 12.2 meters high.
