The Uffizi Galleries are located on the first and second floors of a huge edifice planned by Giorgio Vasari and built between 1560 and 1580. Asides from this museum being one of the best in the world, it is also one of the most expensive in the world. The cost for general admission is €20 ($21). Entry is $2 for EU citizens aged 18 to 25, and free for students, teachers, and visitors under the age of 18.
